G'Day, my name is Paul Thislethwaite. My wife Karen and I moved to Yeppoon in 1993 to bring up our two boys Dan and Ben.

For many years I worked in the horticulture industry which I loved, until i became highly allergic to wasps and had many close calls with anaphylaxis, it was time to change professions.

Two of my other loves are the ocean and painting the ocean, using acrylics and pastels.

So I started framing my own paintings and that's how Driftwood Framing  began. Working out of a shed at the front of our Howes Road property I've been framing other peoples artwork, photos and memorabilia now for more than 8 years.
